About the Project
"A Golden Journey - Never Give Up Hope" is a documentary film about the extraordinary life of a man, Sichan Siv, who escaped from the Killing Fields under the Khmer Rouge, found his way to the Unites States as a Cambodian refugee, and made history by being the first Asian American to become a United State Ambassador to the United Nations.
