About the Project

DeAngelo Washington thought baseball was his ticket out of poverty, but after a major injury he discovers an unlikely sport - mountain biking. Facing criticism from his own community, he struggles to become one of the fastest downhill racers alive, and prove mountain biking is a viable path wherever you're from.
