Alberto Barboza

Alberto Barboza (He/Him) is a native Angeleno of indigenous Mexican descent. He received an MFA in film production from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and TV. Professionally he has written and directed in all three mediums of study. Alberto received a Daytime Emmy nomination for his work as Consulting Producer and Dialogue Coach on HULU’s East Los High. He dedicates his work at the IDA in memory of the late UCLA Documentary Professor Marina Goldovskaya.
