Premiering tonight, Monday, January 22 on Independent Lens is Peter Nicks' The Force, which presents a fly-on-the-wall look deep inside the long-troubled Oakland Police Department as it struggles to confront federal demands for reform, a popular uprising following events in Ferguson, Missouri, and an explosive sex scandal.

Premiering Friday, January 26 on Netflix is Dirty Money, an investigative series that exposes blatant acts of corporate greed and corruption. Episode directors include Alex Gibney, Fisher Stevens, Jesse Moss, Erin Lee Car, Kristi Jacobson, and Brian McGinn. 

Premiering Tuesday, January 23 on PBS is We'll Meet Again, a new series, hosted by Ann Curry, featuring dramatic reunions of people whose lives crossed at pivotal moments.

Premiering Saturday, January 27 on HBO is The Number on Great Grandpa's Arm. When ten-year-old Elliott asks his 90-year-old great-grandfather, Jack, about the number tattooed on his arm, he sparks an intimate conversation about Jack's life that spans happy memories of childhood in Poland, the loss of his family, surviving Auschwitz and finding a new life in America.
