IDA is made up of a small but mighty team of individuals dedicated to uplifting documentary storytellers and building an inclusive documentary culture. We are located in the vibrant Koreatown community in Los Angeles but have members working remotely from across the US.

Unionized Workplace

IDA employees formed Documentary Workers United (DWU) as a part of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Union. The initial union contract was ratified on July 21, 2023. See the Collective Bargaining Agreement here and the union bargaining timeline and notes here
