About the Project
My Country, No More explores identity and the notion of progress in rural America. Filmed over transformative four years, the film intimately captures the lives and hopes of one farming family living on the frontier of the oil boom in Trenton, North Dakota. The film bears witness to how the pursuit of progress, whether it’s money or a way of life, challenges people’s relationship to the land, and ultimately to each other.
