The War, the 17-hour PBS series from Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, captured three Emmy Awards in the nonfiction categories at the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys Awards ceremony Saturday night in Los Angeles. The program won honors for Outstanding Voiceover Performance, Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Sound Editing.
