About the Project

"This Side of Midnight" will be an immersive arts and culture film about the influential post Warhol generation of artists who converged in the legendary scene of 1980s nightlife as it rose and fell. The film will unpack a densely vivid moment of New York history that bridges the Studio 54 and Reagan eras with the AIDS crisis and Giuliani years, featuring the original iconoclasts that brought underground culture to the mainstream.
