Please use this guide to see how to log in and book tickets for the series.

IDA members get complimentary access to all virtual screenings. To access on-demand films, become an IDA member to gain instant access!

Purchase, renew, or confirm your IDA Membership

  • PURCHASE: For those new to IDA, head to documentary.org/membership to purchase your annual membership. All membership levels include access to Screening Series.
  • RENEW: To renew your membership, please click here for instructions.
  • CONFIRM: If you have an active IDA membership, ensure you have set up your new MyIDA login and confirm that your membership details are up to date.

Your MyIDA Login

Once you have confirmed your active membership on MyIDA, you’ll need the login credentials for the SpringDocs. We recommend saving it in a secure digital Password Manager.

Please note that you must use your MyIDA login to access the SpringDocs. Even if you are using the same email on a separate Eventive account, it will not grant you access. Please follow the step-by-step guide on this page.

Pre-ordering for digital screenings

All SpringDocs films are available on-demand to members all around the world!
Please note that the following video is from 2021, but its information is still correct.

  • watch.documentary.org/springdocs is home to the series’ Virtual Cinema. You can also access the digital catalog by clicking on "WATCH ON DEMAND SCREENINGS" from the schedule.
  • The date and time of a film is when the screening will first become available to watch on-demand.
  • Each digital screening has a 7-day unlock period. Once you hit play, you have 24 hours to watch the film.
  • For screenings that do not have an in-person component, a digital moderated filmmaker conversation will be available at the same time as the movie itself.
  • Members can pre-order films to receive email reminders of when the films’ viewing windows open.
  • To pre-order, log into watch.documentary.org/springdocs with your MyIDA credential
  • The “Login” link is located in the upper right corner. Please note that if you are already logged into Eventive with another account, you must log out first.
  • If you are already logged in to your My IDA Account on documentary.org, please log out before proceeding to the next step.
  • On the pop-up, click “Login with MyIDA account”
  • Input your login name (username or email) and password
  • Click “Log In”
  • If your membership is active, you’ll be automatically redirected back to Eventive.
  • Click on the film poster of your desired screening
  • Click the "Pre-order now for free" button
  • Select “Pre-order with "your name" ($0)...”

Watching digital screenings

  • To access all your pre-ordered digital showings, click on the circle with your initials at the top right corner on watch.documentary.org/springdocs
  • Select "My content library" from the dropdown
  • When a screening is available on-demand, the "Pre-ordered successfully" button will become a watch button.
  • Please note that once you hit play, you have 24 hours to watch the film.

Canceling in-person screening RSVP

If you and your guest are no longer able to make an in-person screening at the Landmark, please cancel your tickets.

  • Head to My Tickets on Eventive
  • Find the film you can no longer attend
  • Click “MANAGE”
  • Select "Cancel tickets..." from the dropdown
