About the Project

Everyone knows the beaches, boardwalks, and nightclubs of the Jersey Shore, but there is another side to this iconic summer vacation destination... an even wilder one.

Saving Summer takes you on a new kind of summer vacation, highlighting the individuals fighting to save the unique ecosystem of the New Jersey coast, and the nostalgic summer culture it supports.
