About the Screening
Op-Docs is the New York Times’ Emmy-winning documentary series and forum featuring independent filmmakers. Op-Docs publishes the work of both emerging and established filmmakers and artists, who use the medium of documentary film to explore the most important issues facing our world. Begun in 2011, Op-Docs includes more than 250 short, interactive and virtual-reality documentaries, all featured across New York Times platforms. This Screening Series Op-Docs program includes five films from the series: 116 Cameras (Davina Pardo); Alone (Garrett Bradley); The Aria of Babyface Cauliflower Brown (Tim Grant); Perfectly Normal (Joris Debeij); and Ten Meter Tower (Maximilien Van Aertryck and Axel Danielson).
