Your tax-deductible donation to IDA directly contributes to our capacity to support documentary filmmakers. Every dollar helps protect free expression and ensure documentary filmmakers can continue telling the stories that matter.

- $250 provides full IDA membership benefits for one at-risk filmmaker
- $1,000 funds crisis response communications when filmmakers need them most
- $5,000 provides an emergency grant to a filmmaker in danger OR brings an international documentarian to our Getting Real conference
- $10,000 funds one of our education programs teaching filmmakers to defend themselves through fair use, source protection, and resisting intimidation on legal grounds.
IDA accepts donations by credit card, wire transfer, check, and donations of stocks or securities. We are also able to accept bequests and estates established by donors.
