Bethany Wearden
Bethany Wearden (she/her) has over 10 years of experience in artist support and public programming at various organizations including Sundance Institute, USC Pacific Asia Museum, and Define American supporting artists and storytellers across disciplines and career stages. Bethany is passionate about demystifying creative career paths and helping artists find the support, resources, and community they need to build flourishing careers. In 2023, she co-wrote and published Creativity is Boundless: An Inclusive Guide as a roadmap for artist support and grantmaking programs to make their opportunities more accessible to all, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Growing up, Bethany lived in Jamaica, Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Turkey and traveled widely and is motivated by the way art and storytelling can help bridge divides across cultural and language barriers. Bethany spends her free time at the cinema, hiking, or enjoying a National Park.
