About the Project

FABULOUS FOSTERS: THE ANATOMY OF OVERCOMING is a new documentary featuring famous former fosters and their journeys of success. The film is about how they conquered their hardships and came to thrive in their lives.

There is a small percentage of foster youth who have excelled beyond expectations and reached extraordinary heights. The documentary will focus on how they did it: what were their methods, inspirations, daily practices, philosophies, psychological approach, source of drive, or personal beliefs that helped them overcome?

Oscar contender and multi-award-winning director, Klaudia Kovács, too, grew up in foster care. Upon aging out of the system, as a young adult, she became homeless because she had nowhere to go. She built her life from there.
