About the Project

"Inquiry of Shadows" explores the psychological frameworks behind the Uyghur genocide in China. Through personal testimonies, expert analyses, and historical context, the film delves into the cultural erasure, systemic oppression, and mental health impacts faced by the Uyghur people. As a global society, we've become desensitized to the horrors of this mass murder. This film aims to challenge that numbness, to reconnect us with our humanity, and to acknowledge the deep mental toll such atrocities inflict. Public condemnation alone cannot heal the enduring pain.
