About the Project

Against mounting environmental pressures and the fastest-growing human population on earth, Africa’s lions are losing their place on the continent and facing extinction. Today, across a narrow belt in the south, the last-remaining prides are fighting to survive in a place that’s our last critical hope to protect their future.
