About the Project

20 years in the making. 3 million photographs, thousands of hours of footage and a one dollar house. Detroit, once home to abandoned buildings like Michigan central station and a $1 home, is now the comeback story of this century. But the comeback didn’t start w the 10 billion dollars recently invested in the city, it started in the people who never left.
