About the Project
This feature-length documentary film & life skills curriculum is based upon the aspirations of at-risk teens on a Compton basketball team coached by former Crip gang kingpin Rudolph “Rock” Johnson. After decades at the top of the legendary crime network - in the streets and in prison - Rock was reborn through the mentorship of NFL legend Jim Brown and his Amer-I-Can Program, so Rock’s team is about way more than basketball; it’s about changing the course of these boys’ lives.
