"Why A Volunteer?" is a feature-length documentary that examines the question of why ordinary people choose to do extraordinary work for the benefit of others around the world. This documentary tells the stories of three volunteers in Afghanistan, Ecuador, and India. Why are they there? What are they getting out of it? Why do they stay? The motivation to "help the world" is only the beginning.
